This feels like the most “Canadian” image I’ve posted to date.

Ammo Magazine, a great treasure highlighting some crazy amazing illustrator talent, just released their The Lumberjacks Illustrated Guide to Wood Cutting edition and this is my contribution!

There are just too many aspects to the life of a lumberjack that I wanted to illustrate and I couldn’t pick just one. The beards! The landscapes! The wildlife! The plaid! If it weren’t for my small physique, love of modern technology, and fear of being mauled by swarms of insects, the life of a lumberjack would be pretty appealing.
